On December 26th, 2016 the Chinese athlete Wang Zhonghua completed 27 pull ups in one minute, using only his middle fingers, thus breaking the previous record of 19 pull ups, set by Uzbekistan's Jamshid Turaev in March 2016 in Cyprus.
