The ceramic cup, developed by Chen Qingyi (Dehua, China), is made of pure Dehua ore material, and has extremely thin walls less than 0.5 mm. Certified by the World Record Certification Agency official staff on-site, the cup has been recognized as the world’s thinnest ceramic cup. This ceramic cup boasts characteristics such as “white as snow, thin as paper, smooth as jade, and resonant as a chime.” With a whiteness level of 88.8 degrees—the highest standard for Dehua white porcelain—and an ultra-thinness of just 0.5mm, its delicate texture reveals intricate details under light, resembling the translucency of cicada wings. The cup also allows for custom engraving at the base and can be used directly on an electric stove to boil water or brew tea. Remarkably, even when water reaches boiling point, the rim remains comfortably cool to the touch, making it a world-class marvel in ceramic craftsmanship. This exceptional ceramic cup has been officially certified by the World Record Certification Agency and is showcased in the World Records Museum as a limited-edition global masterpiece held by a world record holder.
