微书作品《临江仙·滚滚长江东逝水》,由严水龙先生(中国人)用古法方式所写,全文及落款共计80字,每字大小均小于0.8毫米,字体为行书。2017年7月5日,经世界纪录认证官方现场测量及审核,被认证为世界最小的微书作品。
严水龙,1964年出生于福建省福清市,现任厦门市恒佳实业有限公司董事长,厦门华远文化艺术有限公司总经理、厦门市书法家协会理事,厦门市硬笔研究会顾问。
严水龙微书作品的艺术价值,也得到了海内外书法爱好者的广泛认可。如今的严水龙,状态好时,已经可以在生宣纸上写到0.5毫米以下,而他以0.8毫米以下创下的“世界最小的微书作品”纪录,至今无人超越。希望更多人探索微书艺术阳光洒进书房,墙上挂着的一幅幅微书作品,相继被“点亮”,静谧气息弥散在整个屋子。“发现文字之美,到底是发现自己的深情。”严水龙希望,他的作品能够开展更多的海内外书法家爱好者的认同。
The book entitled “Lin JiangXian .The roaring Yangtze flows ever eastward”, by Mr. Yan Shui-long (Chinese) written in the ancient form with the full text and inscribe being a total of 80 words and each word being less than 0.8 mm in size using a running script font. Authenticated by the World Record Certification for the Official Field Measurement and Audit, be certified as the world’s smallest micro book work.
The artistic value of Yan Shuilong’s micro-calligraphy works has gained widespread recognition among calligraphy enthusiasts worldwide. At his peak, Yan can write characters smaller than 0.5mm on raw rice paper, while his record for creating the “world’s smallest micro-calligraphy works” (under 0.8mm) remains unbroken to this day.
In his study, sunlight streams through the window, illuminating rows of micro-calligraphy pieces on the walls. Each stroke, almost invisible to the naked eye, reveals intricate beauty when magnified, filling the room with a serene ambiance. “Discovering the beauty of characters is, ultimately, discovering the depth of one’s own emotions,” reflects Yan.
He hopes his works will inspire more people to explore the art of micro-calligraphy and earn broader recognition from global calligraphy communities. Notably, his work micro-calligraphy masterpieces are displayed at the World Records Museum, celebrating this extraordinary fusion of precision and artistry.
